A Cruel Sea is an Australian indie rock band from Sydney formed in 1988. A b& was headed and formed per prolific vocaliser Tex Perkins (also the member of The Beasts of Bourbon & a solo creative person) additionally to Jim Elliot (drums), Danny Rumour (guitar) and Ken Gormley (bass). More musicians world health organizatiin keep around been in the b& include guitar player Gerard Corben & James Cruikshank (from either 1991 onward); and Barry Turnbull on bass. Popular albums include ''This Is Does'nt A Way Page (1991), The Honeymoon Is On top (1993), and a successful 3 Legged Run'' (1995). Around 1997 a portrait of Tex Perkins by creative person Bill Leak won a Packing Room award at the Archibald Prize.
